Hi, my name is Steve, & I am also a fuzzybutt addict! I have 2 RIR & 1 EE day olds in the kitchen, next to the incubator holding my stash of 37 more eggs.

I CAN'T QUIT!!!

OK, I confess, I have 30 more on order.

3 - 3 week old Cochin Mix chicks
2 - 3 week old BCM
6 - 2 week old mix chicks
All in my breakfast nook brooder. I'm also waiting anxiously for my bantam polish test eggs and wishing one of the silkies would go broody, so I can buy more eggs.

But, I don't have a problem, I can quit when I want to.

But this week I'm getting 5 or 6 pure ameraucana's that will be 4 weeks old. And I'm awaiting hatching eggs as soon as the BYC members hens start laying again.

Hi, My name is Kristina and I have a I am addicted to fuzzybutts.
Since this is my last semester of school DH said I could have one breed of chicken this year. I have now convinced him to let me have 2 and turkeys.
I started stalking the farm supply the first week of February.
I just happened to be there Wed. morning when they opened and guess what, they had babies.

Straight run assortment to be exact. I tried to leave with just feed, but I could hear them peeping and calling to me.
I snuck home 5 EE babies.

I was going to pass them off as packing peanuts when the 25 babies I ordered got here next week, but DH discovered them.

He didn't get mad, he laughed and said they were cute. He knows I have a habit, but secretly I think he has one too. He made me bring them up from the basement and into the dining room.

Sooooo..

I have 11 2 month olds in the coop with 2 mamma's.
5 EE's in the dining room.
25 Babies on the way
10 Silkies coming in two weeks
10 poults coming with the silkies.

The farm supply get's babies every week. DH told me to go somewhere else to buy my feed, so I won't be tempted.

Now me, I ONLY have 12 eggs under 2 broodies. I have a total of ONLY 13 birds right now. Man oh man I hope I don't get out of control like you all!!

I wouldn't be able to keep up with building coops!!

Well I have been begging my mom and she has finally gave in lol im going to the local farm store and ordering 4 black austrolrps 3 fem and a male there gonna come in may I cant wait!

I have 28 eggs in the incubator at the moment. Can't wait til the 25th which is hatch day! I remember a month ago when I told hubby I want chickens.. I said I only want 5 or 6 LOL.
