"So." Sliver said.
Sunala waited.
"Why don't you just leave."
"Because I didn't come all this way into the forest for you to tell me nothing!" Sunala said.
"well... you did. Because I'm not going to tell you anything." Sliver said, making up his mind that he wouldn't tell her.

"Come ONNNN!!!" Sunala said.
"I already told you! I'm not going to tell you!" Sliver snarled, "I'm not going to tell you even if I have to drag you back to camp to stop you from bugging me!" (yeah. he gets annoyed easily.)

Fenrir braced himself. If Sunala wouldn't get it out of Silver, he would.

 

[Starburst]

Orchid had excused herself from the beta she was fishing with and was wondering the territory. She came across another coyote, a silver and brown one with a white belly and smiled. "Hello!" she said cheerfully. She was completely oblivious to the mischievous gleam in the coyote's eyes.

"Oh, hello there. You must be Orchid. Such a beautiful name." Amber said, her voice smooth and sickly sweet. "I just heard about you." A sly smile appeared on her face.

"Come ONNNN!!!" Sunala said.
"I already told you! I'm not going to tell you!" Sliver snarled, "I'm not going to tell you even if I have to drag you back to camp to stop you from bugging me!" (yeah. he gets annoyed easily.)

Sunala made puppy eyes at him, "You wouldn't drag me!"
"I would. Would you like a demonstration?" Sliver growled.
"No. Please, no." Sunala said.
"Then leave and stop bugging me."
"I PROMISE I'll stop annoying you after you tell me why you don't like Orchid."
"Did Loki or Fenrir put you up to this?" he asked, making sure not to call the new Alpha by his rank name of Alpha.

"Oh, hello there. You must be Orchid. Such a beautiful name." Amber said, her voice smooth and sickly sweet. "I just heard about you." A sly smile appeared on her face.

"You did?" Orchid wagged her tail happily. She was becoming known! "Thank you by the way, my mother named me after the Bat Orchids since I am small and black, like them." She thought for a minute. "Would you like to play with rabbits with me?" She asked, halfway pleading, she hadn't seen her friends since she became a pack member.

"You did?" Orchid wagged her tail happily. She was becoming known! "Thank you by the way, my mother named me after the Bat Orchids since I am small and black, like them." She thought for a minute. "Would you like to play with rabbits with me?" She asked, halfway pleading, she hadn't seen her friends since she became a pack member.

"Hmm? Play with rabbits, you say? Of course, Orchid." Amber almost felt sorry for the little coyote.

"Yay!" Orchid jumped happily. She was no longer a pup, but she still acted like one, at least most of the time. She started off in the direction to the rabbit warren. Once they were about ten feet away she turned to her new friend and wagged her tail. "Please wait here? They can be a little shy sometimes." She turned and strolled onto the ground above the warren and called to the rabbits in their own, squeaky language. "Come on out guys! I have a new friend for you to meet!" One by one the rabbits came out. One of them was the black rabbit that Fenrir had caught just a couple weeks ago.

"Yay!" Orchid jumped happily. She was no longer a pup, but she still acted like one, at least most of the time. She started off in the direction to the rabbit warren. Sunala was tempted to say 'WHO?' just because she thought it was funny, but then decided against it. "No. They didn't."
"Yeah right." Sliver took a menacing step closer, "You can't lie to me."
"umm... What's up with you? do you have trust issues or something? I told you, they didn't."

Amber wrinkled her nose. "You can speak their language? But you eat them!"

"Eat them?! I don't eat rabbits! They are my friends, and this one here," she gestured to the black one, "Says you saved him. That's one of the reasons I brought you hear!" She wagged her tail excitedly, hoping her new friend would accept her.
