"Well, you eat meat, at least." Amber shook her head, utterly confused. Then she looked down at the black one. "I-I can't remember saving this little guy. Can you explain?" Amber's evil plan began to slip away.

"He says that alpha caught him once, a rare treat for his mate, and that you convinced alpha to let him go! He was so excited and he described you perfectly! That's why I wanted to bring you here, so you could meet him. And yes I eat meet, but only because I have to. If I didn't have to I wouldn't." She wrinkled her nose only slightly at the mention of the alpha males mate. She continued wagging her tail and jumped around a bit.

"What? Who's Angel? And I don't dislike anybody, except well, Silver." Orchid was growing a little nervous and her tail dropped. She noticed me wrinkling my nose didn't she! Orchid started to hyperventilate a little. She was panicking. This new coyote was going to tattle on her and she was going to be banished, she new it. The rabbits cuddled around her, sensing her discomfort.

Amber, a natural liar, and trickster, could practically read Orchid's mind. "Angel is the 'Alpha's' mate," Amber explained, unable to keep the disgust out of her voice as she said Alpha. "You needn't worry. I'm not going to tell on you." Amber grinned. "That is, so long you don't tell on me that I disrespected that 'Alpha.'"

"Why don't you like Alpha?" Orchid asked. "Thank you for not ratting me out. And yes, I don't like Angel but I have nothing against Alpha." She added with a distant look in her eyes as she daydreamed about Alpha coming to her rescue against Silver.

"You do know that Angel is the Alpha, right?" Amber asked skeptically. "And, not to mean or anything, but how I feel about Fenrir is my business. Some things are better left unsaid." Amber then smiled. "By the way, do you think you could teach me how to talk to rabbits?" She asked

"I don't care that Angel is the alpha! Fenrir is my alpha!" Orchid shouted, but remembered her place and said, "Oh, I'm sorry. Did I scare you?" She didn't want to have scared her friend away. "I'll still teach you rabbit speak if you want."

Amber looked shocked, and a little scared. "But, they're both Alphas." She said in a small voice.
