Without waiting for a reply, Amber turned and raced into the storm, running faster than she ever had in her life, despite the storm. She couldn't let Fenrir interfere. Her paws barely touching the ground, she raced through the trees like the wind itself.
 
Scar spots crystal and grabs her by the scruff , pulling her to safety just before the flashflood hits " crystal are you ok? , why were you down there ?, Scar helps crystal back to the his den and collapses with tiredness , " Aspen I'm going to sleep now " scar said yawning

Crystal didn't respond, her eyes wide with the shock of almost dying.
 
Fenrir saw how her feet shifted before she ran and took off before she had fully turned around. She was fast but he was larger and had longer legs. He also didn't tire as easy.

"I'll be back Angel," Fenrir said sadly to himself. Since they had courted he had had very little time to spend with her. He didn't take his eyes off of Amber's silhouette running before him.

Amber glanced back and saw Fenrir chasing her, but fear urged her on, her pace never slacking as tore across the land, leaping like a deer onto shortcuts. She glanced back. She wasn't getting any further from Fenrir, but at least he wasn't getting any closer.
 
Orchid had been about to step in the den when Amber and Fenrir raced out, "Ah come on!" she shouted to them. Where are they going? She wondered.
