Walking past Amber, he stepped out of the den and decided to go hunting for himself. Looking back, he said kindly, "You're not even supposed to be in the alpha den Amber, and yet I let you stay. But you do not like alphas, I can tell that much. When you are ready to change, come to me and explain. I want to know if it had to do with a previous alpha, or if you are just like this." With that he trotted off to where all the turkey roost. Along the way he spotted Scar and Aspen. He sat and watched quietly, unnoticed for a bit, biding his time, the turkeys would be roosting all night. Sighing quietly he rose after awhile and crept silently toward the turkeys, there he sat and waited for one of them to push another out of a tree for more room.
"I'm sure you do," Amber said, almost sadly as she watched him go.

Amber shook her head sadly, genuinely feeling sorry for the poor rabbit. "It's interesting, isn't it? That you cry about flowers, but you seem to have a heart of stone. It's rare. Let it live. You don't need to take a life just for luck. And, if you plan to kill it, make it quick, instead of letting it freak out about its future."
"I do feel bad for the rabbit," Fenrir admitted, his heart softening a bit. He removed the stone and let the rabbit go. He would find another meal for his mate.

Sure enough, not long after he arrived a fight broke out among the turkeys and one came hurtling toward the ground, he caught it before it could hit and snapped its neck. He decided to wait some time longer for another one for his mate.

Ten minutes later and he was walking back to his den, two turkeys dead in his jaws.

Amber glanced at the freshly caught deer. It was far from her turn, but, when she was sure no one was watching, she snagged a big piece. It wouldn't matter if that new Alpha saw me, anyway. His heart is too soft. I bet he can't even fight or punish anyone. She thought smugly as she quietly devoured the piece behind a bush.
