Scar climbed out of the water to eat his fish .he lay on a boulder next to Aspen

"Mr. Ice, I'm very sorry, but that is just not possible." Ruby tried to keep her voice calm. "I'd better be on my way... sooo, goodbye!" Ruby turned to leave, but suddenly she felt sharp teeth on her leg.

"I've been watching you for a while, but that stupid Kiro got ahead of me. I just might have to end him." Threatened Ice.

Ruby yelped with pain, "I...I can't!"

"You have to become my mate." Growled Ice, biting harder. "Will you, or will you not?"

"I...I...yes...NO....I mean...oh stop!" Ruby leaped to her feet and bit back at Ice.

"You are the--------" Ice said.

Kiro's head snapped up. "Ruby!" He gasped. Jumping up, he raced towards the stream and nearly exploded with horror. "Ruby!" He shouted, running towards the two. "What are you doing? Let go of her!" He exclaimed at Ice
