Amber figured Orchid must be dreaming. “Orchid! Wake up! It’s just a dream,” she soothedWepwawet was following Amber, concerned. She was running so she must have known where the howl came from.
Orchid was dreaming that the mama bear was trying to kill her as revenge for killing her and since she thought Orchid had killed her cubs. Orchid was evading and occasionally snapping but she was growing tired. In real life her legs twitched and she was panting and whimpering.
Sunala blinked, confused. She crept closer to the bush. Suddenly a loud bang filled the air and she felt a burning pain on her shoulder.
Amber figured Orchid must be dreaming. “Orchid! Wake up! It’s just a dream,” she soothed
“Relax. It’s okay.” Amber said. “Why not you go get some food and water and I’ll watch the cubs for you?” Amber offeredOrchid woke with a start, at both the sound of a fire stick and the sound of Amber's voice, she glanced next to her and spotted the cubs a few feet away, she stood and nuzzled them to make sure they were ok. She looked past Amber and saw Wepwawet and growled, "They're mine!"
Wepwawet took a step back and ran toward the bang noise, a little hurt that he had been growled at for no reason.
"No," Orchid said stubbornly. She was starving and her mouth was parched but she was not willing to leave the cubs.“Relax. It’s okay.” Amber said. “Why not you go get some food and water and I’ll watch the cubs for you?” Amber offered
Wepwawet saw Sunala fall and saw the hunter, thankfully there was only one. He felt a fury come over him and he leapt for the hunters hand, bristling and snarling the whole way.Sunala stumbled back with a whimper.
Sunala got to three of her feet and tried to leap at the hunter."No," Orchid said stubbornly. She was starving and her mouth was parched but she was not willing to leave the cubs.
Wepwawet saw Sunala fall and saw the hunter, thankfully there was only one. He felt a fury come over him and he leapt for the hunters hand, bristling and snarling the whole way.
Wepwawet had grabbed the hand and knocked the hunter over with his weight. He then let go of the hand and went for the throat, the hunter knew what was coming and he covered his throat, but Wepwatwet was mad with fury and dove again and again at the throat until the hunter could no longer hold his hands up and he felt his teeth sink into the throat.Sunala got to three of her feet and tried to leap at the hunter.
