"I'm sorry I wasn't here sooner," Wepwawet said and supported her, he felt butterflies in his stomach and didn't know what that was about. What is this strange feeling I get when I am around Sunala? He wondered to himself.
Orchid noticed Amber would not look at her and was instantly suspicious. She stood and went in front of the cubs, half bristling, "Why won't you look me in the eyes?" she whispered angrily.
Amber looked up, surprised. ”You needn’t be so angry all the time, Orchid.” she said softly, still avoiding Orchid’s gaze. She licked a piece of fur that was sticking straight up on one of the cubs heads smooth
Orchid put a paw in front of the cub and growled, "You expect me to trust you around my cubs and yet you are hiding something from me right now?" She asked Amber, offended. Her eyes were like blue flames and her fur was bristling.
Amber frowned. ”Number 1: They’re not ’your’ cubs. Number 2: Do I have to tell you everything of my personal life?”
Orchid snarled, trying not to leap at Amber, "I never said that Amber, you are hiding something from me that you are guilty about, I can see it behind the anger in your eyes. I will not allow anything to happen to the cubs, and yes they are mine, I have claimed them and I will take care and protect them like that of their own mother!"
"Well, so do I!" Amber snapped. "And what makes you think I'm guilty of anything? It's nothing to do with the cubs, if that's what you're wondering."
"I think she will be," Wepwawet said uncertainly. There was still butterflies in his stomach and he was very nervous to be this close to her. He was still supporting her weight.
Orchid snarled and raiser her head slightly, "Then why do you look so guilty?" She asked. She needed to know whether or not she could trust Amber and Amber was not helping.
"It's nothing to worry about," Amber said stiffly. She didn't want to talk about it
