"What? Why would I want you to go?" he said then caught himself, "I mean, I wouldn't mind a little company.. I don't know anyone around here except for Alpha Fenrir." He smiled sheepishly.
"Well, I suggest you get to know the others," Amber said, her eyes twinkling. Amber glanced at the sun. "It's almost night, but I'll stay for a bit."

"Ya- I mean, cool.." he said, trying to keep the glee out of his voice. But he couldn't stop his tail from thumping on the stone floor of his den. "So, what do you do around here?" he asked her, trying to make small talk.

Amber shrugged. "Generally, I get into a lot of mischief. I'm a lot more mysterious then you'd think." She winked

"Ahh, trouble," Jasper sighed. "I'm not very used to pack life, but when I was a pup... I used to get in so much trouble," he smiled remembering all he used to do. But then his smile dropped. He forced it back up and said, "How mysterious are we talking?"
 
Amber grinned. "That you'll have to find out."
Jasper sighed sarcastically and rolled on his side, facing Amber. He looked her in the eyes and said, "I-I think... I think I... Well I think I like y-you," he said shyly, ears pressed to his skull. Then he realized what he had said and blushed and turned away. "I'm sorry," he whispered, his back to her, "I don't know why that came out of my mouth," he lied.
 
Jasper sighed sarcastically and rolled on his side, facing Amber. He looked her in the eyes and said, "I-I think... I think I... Well I think I like y-you," he said shyly, ears pressed to his skull. Amber froze. After a few seconds, she turned and bolted.
 
Jasper heard her run out and started to cry, silently. His tears ran down his cheeks and hit the ground like rain. He was usually so prideful, so why was he crying over a mere female?? he was wondering to himself angrily.
Amber trotted back to Jasper. "Sorry about that. One of the pups started screaming. They were just hungry. Again." She rolled her eyes. "I should probably get them some food soon - why are you crying?" Amber asked
