Amber bounded after him, slowing down as she saw several rabbits in the grasses, their noses quivering.

Jasper went after one rabbit, then the next, killing one after the other. One he had killed about five he sat and started to eat one.

Amber caught three, not wanting to kill too many. "You're a good hunter!" She praised, nuzzling him.

"Thanks," Jasper said through a mouthful of rabbit. He licked her cheek after he swallowed.

Amber took a small mouthful of a rabbit and chewed thoughtfully. "You know, I think this is the happiest I've ever been." She said as she swallowed. "These past through days. I've had everything I could need, but I felt like something was always missing. And now I think I found it." Amber ducked her head, embarrased by how cheesy it sounded.

Amber took a small mouthful of a rabbit and chewed thoughtfully. "You know, I think this is the happiest I've ever been." She said as she swallowed. "These past through days. I've had everything I could need, but I felt like something was always missing. And now I think I found it." Amber ducked her head, embarrased by how cheesy it sounded.

"I understand," Jasper said, thinking, "I thought I had everything, but lately, I've been very lonely," he nuzzled her, smiling.

"Oh." Amber smiled. "Well, know that you'll always have me around now. You're going to have a hard time getting rid of me." She laughed. "Come on, let's get some meat to my cousins. Though they really should be catching their own food." (@LittleBigBantam, FYI, Amber may not be housing Violet and Oak for much longer...)

"Oh." Amber smiled. "Well, know that you'll always have me around now. You're going to have a hard time getting rid of me." She laughed. "Come on, let's get some meat to my cousins. "Alright," Jasper chuckled and picked up the last three rabbits.
