Amber lapped up some water and started back to Jasper. As she went, she noticed the smell of wolves in the distance, the scent carried by the wind. Amber frowned and picked up her pace

Amber laughed. "You wouldn't say that if you've had my experience with them. They're particularly a threat to pups. We better warn the others to keep any little ones inside, just in case."

"No, they're not bad. They're actually quite nice, most packs, at least. However, they are stronger than us, and you never know if the pack is up to no good until you see them face to face." Amber smiled nervously. "Trust me, I should know."
