Ruby looked at Kiro, "I think I smell a small herd over that way." She motioned with her tail.

Kiro nodded with a smile and started that way.

Scar was getting worried , he couldn't find zeus and he felt that he was in danger . He tracked him for miles and lost his scent at a creek .



Zeus was standing there in fear as the wolf came closer , he was too scared to move and new he couldn't outrun the wolf anyway .

Sure was! Tonight I'm pretty sure the coon will be stopping by.

(Yikes! If you have the time, let him know I said to stay away from Clucky’s chickens, or else I might have to come over with my trusty rolling pin in hand. Bake him to a crisp, I will. )

Crystal opened her eyes painfully, her vision slowly coming into focus. She wondered where she was, and what had happened.

Zeus watched as the wolf stood up and began to talk .

Wolf , " hello little one . Are you alone ?"

Zeus ," I ......., N-no ..." He stuttered out the lie .

Wolf ," mmhhm " he said raising his eyebrow with a nod, knowing he was lying .


Zeus stepped back in fear and started to whimper ," please ...d-don't h-hurt me " he says shakily .


The wolf stepped closer and his ears perked up to a sound behind him ," the moon coyote pack ! They're coming " he thought and looked down at zeus who was shaking with fear .


Zeus saw his worried expression and frowned , he stepped back another step and expected to be killed but wasn't .

The wolf stepped back and almost yelled ," Run ! Run and don't turn back no matter what !"

Zeus was frightened out of his skin and turned to run , he ran as fast as he could, looking back and seeing the wolf with a terrified expression , being cornered by large black coyotes .....

Zeus burst out of the forest and into a field full of deer , he dodged the frightened animals hooves as he ran under them fearfully. He saw two coyotes hunting and recognized them to be from his father's pack, he ran to them and huddled under kiro and Ruby fearfully, to traumatized to say anything .

Scar crossed the creek and picked up zeus scent once more , he followed it to a clearing and walked into it but stopped when he saw a large pack of night black coyotes ...

Ruby jumped in surprise. "Zeus? What are you doing here?" She saw his terrified expression and started licking him.

Zeus was too afraid to say anything and started to whimper as he recalled what happened.



Scar turned to run and felt a sharp stinging pain in his leg, he turned back around and bit the black coyote on the jaw, as it whimpered and stepped back, he took the opportunity to run and shot out of the clearing and into the forest, with seven or so giant black coyotes following him .

Angel was trotting through the woods, getting a small break from her six pups. She suddenly saw Scar come running out of the woods with some large black coyotes following him. "Scar!" She barked, then she snapped fiercely at the black coyotes. "What are you doing on pack territory?" She howled at them.


Ruby snatched up Zeus and ran for safety. She couldn't let the poor pup get hurt!
