Been reading everyone's ideas on hoop coops. Got excited because our flock has grown to more than 20 hens and we need larger accomodations for them. The hoop design seems to be more economical compared to full wood frame. We have a portion of quanset hut frame that measures approximately 16'Wx20'Dx10'H. It's just being used as covered arbor for flowers right now. The galvanized frame would withstand the NW FL coastal weather we receive & be better strength against black bear intrusions. Would love to hear your opinions and any advice. Thanks!
