Americanas are another name for EEs, which are a mutt, so its hard to say when they will start laying since there is so much variety in the "breed"
Hard to say, I had some lay later, but she looks ready to me. Definitely a pullet, so being a cockerel is out of the question. Have you checked her pelvic bones?

Nobody’s laying. My next oldest pullets are 20 weeks. I got 5 chicks in March—one ended up being a cockerel and the other 4 ended up being different breeds than they were sold as so I sold them and ordered chicks from small breeders. This Americana/EE is the only one I kept from that group.She could be laying, easter eggers don't always lay blue or green, they can also lay cream, brown or tan.
