Hoover hatchery assorted Brahmas

HI!! I ordered assorted brahmas from hoover but my brown babies do not look like Brahmas. They do not have feathery legs. Any idea of what they can be

Pretty hard to know at this age. There are many breeds with that chipmunk patterning. Some I’m aware of are Bielefelder, Welsummer, Speckled Sussex, Light Brown Leghorn, Cream Crested Legbar, and some Easter Eggers and Olive Eggers can have that pattern. Surely there are more.

I’m assuming these are standard sized chickens, but if bantams then I would guess some kind of Old English Game.

You're right. They're definitely not Brahmas. They have the barring gene, so could be Bielefelders or olive eggers. Possibly cream Legbars, too, but Hoover's doesn't have them on their list.
