Earliest feathers? My order shipped Monday - didn’t arrive till late this afternoon even though i’m only eight hours away - got to love USPS routing (sigh) chicks arrives stressed - a few lost - noted on lost and weak chicks they started getting wing feathers - is that possible on a 2-3 day chick?

Chicks start growing wing feathers very quickly after hatching.

Depends on the breed. My Pekin/Cochins get wings feather on day 2-3, they were hatched by a broody hen.
