To put this short I need either chicks or hatching eggs of specifically Hoovers Hatchery genetics.
They aren't selling any online and my local shops haven't yet had any. My rooster I need to breed them to is going out of his prime and I'm afraid I'll lose him within the next few years.

Please if you have any and are on the east coast of the US I'll happily pay the normal hatchery price.

You might keep checking with Tractor Supply. I know Hoover's is not accepting new orders, but that might be because they're committed to previous orders from the farm stores. I bought a half dozen from Tractor Supply the last part of February which was absolutely serendipity. I wasn't looking to buy chicks (I lost my little flock to stray dogs several years back,) but we dropped in early one morning and they had a dozen or so CCL's that had just been delivered.

Why specificlally Hoover's Hatchery genetics? I ask this because (correct me if I'm wrong) Cream Legbars were imported by Greenfire Farms, and they have spread out across the country from there. But basically all Cream Legbars in the U.S. originate from the same line, and that is Jill Rees, if I understand correctly. Now they have had production qualities infused into them using other breeds, I'm sure, to increase their egg laying ability and that may be specific to each hatchery if that occurs, but pure stock without the outcrossing of other breeds, is all Jill Rees bloodline that was imported by Greenfire Farm.

I wanted hoovers hatchery so I have a higher chance of getting more birds like the one I have. I've gotta get some before my oldest rooster passes so I don't have to completely start over from scratch.

I don't want to take any chances with genetic "leftovers" from the hatchery crossing the original imported birds with other breeds. Hope that makes more sense.
