Hope this goes better than the first set of eggs

This evening I saw the egg under the parlor roller, Saturday we should have the second egg. This is their second attempt, they hatched one earlier and I found it dead 11 days after hatching. It looked like it had been stood on all night.

It is quite common for the first clutch of a pair to end badly. I hope things go better this time.
