Hello all,finally joined after reading this site the last year or so(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?Have chickens for a few years now
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 8 chickens
(3) What breeds do you have?
2 silkies 2 cinnamon queens,1 lavander orp,1 sussex,1leghorn,1 plymouth rock
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
people that can, should give these often abused and slaughtered animals a happy life.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I build cars.Start to finish.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.I am a retired Trooper,I have an incredible Female Pitbull that LOVES and always protects the chickens.She will let them eat first when food is offered.My wife and 2 sons love the chickens also and help with all.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Ive scoured the site for about a year,should have joined way before.Hope this initial post is in the right spot.
