Oh so exciting!! In 3 weeks you should have some fluffy chicks! Are you doing a hatch a long too that I could follow on here?some are on day 3 while others are on day 1 and 2

Thank you!! I did see egg 7 wiggling so I will candle in a few hours if I’m not seeing any progress yet!For the eggs that haven’t externally pipped yet, I would pull them out and do a quick candle. They won’t shrink wrap if they haven’t externally pipped (and even if they have, they won’t if you are quick) If they have internally pipped, you may want to make a safety hole for them. If they haven’t internally pipped it’s probably likely that they won’t hatch at this point.
Congrats on your gorgeous babies!!!! I don’t know about the possible sex links with the SLW. If you end up with any from the barred rock hen, they will be sex linked, males will have a white head spot and be barred, females won’t.
Oh yay that is a great sign! If you have a brooder ready for them, you can also pull out all the fluffed up chicks! (I usually wait until it has been at least an hour since they hatched before I pull them out.) Just if they are getting overcrowded and going crazy with the unhatched eggsThank you!!
