I'm setting some silkie eggs I purchased on ebay and some eggs from my RIR hens and Ameraucana x RIR roo in my diy styro-bator in the morning. The first batch I set a few weeks ago all quit so I'd really like to make this one work.

Here's my super simple styro-bator while: I have it running at 99 degrees and 20-30% humidity. Anyone have any advice for a newbie besides not to candle them to death? I'm gonna have to have one of the kids hide my flashlight.....
