hoping for a hen

This was an EE roo I had this past summer, he had a much larger comb, but the coloration of your reminds me of him. I still want to lean towards pullet.

I'm not sure. The legs would make me think cockerel, but its comb looks like that of a pullet (Easter Egger cockerels tend to have three-row, large red pea combs). If I had to guess, I would lean towards pullet, because of the comb and because there isn't any red coloration on the wings yet.
I agree......however if it does turn out to be a Roo it will be beautiful.

Here are some updated pictures.... this bird is still not helping me decide what it is!

No play fighting like some other birds, but by far the biggest of them all.

Comb small and yellow.

But look at those pointy tail feathers!

Opinions ?

I still think it's a pullet. Pointy tail feathers don't really mean it's a male. It's the long curving tail feathers and pointed saddle feathers (on the back between wings and tail) you need to watch for. Check out my profile photo for a good example of pointed male saddle feathers.

Agree with the above. Those tail feathers don't mean anything. Saddle and hackle feathers would be what you're looking for now, and then sickle feathers. Color and comb both say pullet.
