Hoping for hen!

Hi guy's my silkie is starting to change does it look like its comb is looking like rooster or hen I still have my fingers crossed its a hen its about 14 weeks approximately the new feathers on its head are going in all directions.

Silkies are super hard to sex, so it's better to just wait

It does look like a cockerel but, I would give another month or so to see if things change for the better. Females tend to have narrow combs & males more rounded & bigger. If hatchery bred, all bets are off, they don't use the most typy parents.

I bought it from a pet store that sell a lot of chickens & she said it was from a breeder so I'm not sure so if its from a hatchery could go either way?
