Hoping I am right on this guess!! Pullet?

Just curious what age does a pullet's comb typically turn red? I will wait until they are 12-15 weeks, to cofirm.

My Orphingtons I've raised this year just started turning red at about 4 months of age. The cockerels did around 8-12 weeks. They were pretty obvious early on.
