Oh yea I'll be searching every inch for them. How about a bad thunderstorm, could you see that scaring them bad enough to get lost? We just had the worst storm in a while with high winds and a lot of rain.

Could happen. However, if they were together when the storm struck, the tendency, even at 3 months, would have been to hunker down together.
