I'm sorry these aren't great pictures but we are very new to this and I had a heck of a time getting these pics as is. I will try to get more of their heads and above pictures but for now this is what I have.
I'm also curious if you can tell what breeds we have.

I would agree. I don't have any birds like this (Golden Laced? Please correct me if I'm wrong, still learning) but my Buff Orpingtons are this age and my Barred Rocks are a week older and no red under any of their beaks nor on their combs. I do, however, have a 3 week old mystery breed (might be a mix) Cochin Bantam that is starting to show a bigger comb than the other 3 week olds and some red under his(?) beak. Hope you are allowed to have a Roo!
 
Thanks for your input! He's our prettiest chicken and very friendly but I'm told roosters get mean, I sure hope not because I'm already in love...uh oh.
 
HEChicken is right. Hatcheries produce some single combed GLWs. I have one.
