Morning update:

- Her crop seems a bit smaller this morning (still doughy though) and she had lots of whitish poos with green bits throughout the night.
- She had some nice body language this morning, she opens her eyes and looks around when she hears us, and she even did a tail wag and wiped her beak in her box! I know it could just be her trying to look less sick (survival thing) but it did make me feel more hopeful that sheās not in too much discomfort? I donāt want to be too hopeful, but it was really nice to see
- her comb is now floppy, Iām assuming itās dehydration from the molasses and current epsom flush treatment
- She was a bit interested in water! She likes drinking it off the ground, so we put her outside and she drank on her own for the first time in a day (yay blanche!)
- Her whole digestion seems rough, after the crop massage her whole body was making gurgly/grumbly/airy sounds, and she seems to have to out effort into pooping - it almost squirts out?
- weāre starting to look into options for euthanasia, just to have a backup plan if it seems weāre just extending her suffering

sheās been breathing with the open mouth/gaping, itās uncomfortable to watch but itās hard to tell if itās uncomfortable for her. Her comb is still red, so I think that means sheās still getting a good amount of oxygen!
- miconzole: Iām debating starting an anti fungal treatment, sheās on the epsom flush today and Iāll wait to see howās sheās doing. It seems like a great option but I donāt want to do too many things at once
Again thank you all so much for the replies and information! Iāve been learning from BYC for at least 10 years now, the support and help now for my own hen means so much
