No. It looks good though!
It was super good, at least to me as a kid. I just remember him being blind. It's not a very large book.
Thats so cool! Yes I have read Marguerite Henry's books! I like them alot. My favorite is "The Little Fellow"! You actually met Secretariat in person?
My family has never owned horses, sadly. The closest we got is our mini donkeys, Ziggy and Maizie. Your horses sounded beautiful! I got over half of my breyers from my mom, which are pretty old. She even has the old breyer catalogs!
When my parents divorced they split the collection between them. But I've no idea where they are now. And they don't either.

Here's a little bit of info on the film for anyone who might be interested in the cast. Most notable is probably Russell Crowe as "The Man" and Caroline Goodall (who played Princess Mia's mom [Anne Hathaway's character] in The Princess Diaries).

The hut built in the film became a popular tourist attraction and was lost in the wildfires that ravaged Australia not too long ago. It has since been rebuilt.

And here are some images from the film.

Oh it was your pic, Colt. I clearly skimmed fast.

So the first horse and the horse closest to the camera is the mare that played Thowra. Golden is behind him in the fourth pic and she looks very Arabian to me. I don't see it in the larger mare. She doesn't move in a floating trot the way they do.

It's just one still shot from a motion pic. Seeing the movie could totally change my mind. Just from that still frame, the pally looked Arab.
