Horse people- help please!

Got 70 good sized bales in the barn and just in time too, from the looks of the rainy/snowy weather headed this way. The horse was already down to eyeball the stash, I think she approves. I tarped the stack in hopes of keeping my chickens from attempting to climb it

We get cold here - not as cold as some but 10 at night. We feed one flake of alfalfa #2 in the evening and one flake of bermuda grass in the morning per horse.

We feed one flake at 5 and one at 9 pm, so like 2 a night.
