horse stepped on roos foot

Sam will not put any weight on foot. There are several small cuts on his toes. What should I do for him.

If it is a clean break, all you can do is to make some splints. Not a whole lot you can do. I've had horses stepped accidently on my chickens (stomping at flies). Sometimes they would heal on their own but they will be alright.

can't see any obvious break. I don't want to mess around with his toes. Nothing seems out of place. Is it possible that it is just bruised and not broken?

It could be worse..... I had a miniature horse step on a pullet's head.
