I know, but it'd be way better than 5! My uncles 75 acres surround it so maybe I could talk him into renting me some land. I grew up in town but luckily my grandparents had 60 acres all fenced and 90% pasture, with a kind of round pen. If I could have anything i wanted I'd have a ranch like on Heartland

Since June is resting her muscles and Phoenix is still settling in I went out to just hang out with them today and Phoenix was a camera hog again

I don't know much about liberty. My horses follow me around wherever. Like liberty.
I don't quite know what I did for them to do that- but they didn't do it to start with!

I love heartland!! I've watched every episode-
Except for half of season nine.
The join up stuff actually works too.

Well don't spoil anything for me I'm only on season 5!
And that's good, I think that just means they have a good bond with you. For the first month of having June she followed me everywhere, but now she is occupied with Phoenix and the pasture. Phoenix is starting to follow me around, and I'm sure once June's excitement over her new distractions die down she'll get back to being that way too. I've looked into the Liberty stuff some, and it always intrigues me, and as I've probably said before, my end goal with June (way down the road) is to be able to ride her with nothing but a neck rope. Anyways, the other day I seen the episode of heartland where the guy is doing Liberty with a couple of Andalusians (my favorite breed) (so that's also my new favorite episode lol) and I just got to thinking.. When should I start Liberty work (ground work) with June? Is it best to wait until she's got a good handle on regular training or is it okay to mix the two?
