With regards to your brushes-- Number 2 is called a rubber curry comb and number 3 is called a metal curry comb.
Stiffer bristled brushes are considered dandy brushes with your softer bristled ones being called body or finishing brushes.

This is the thread we're I tell you about my 38-39 year old horse! We used to have 4 horses, we sold one we found out she soondied of brain cancer afterwards. Then we sold the rest toy uncle. They are fine still. That soon left us with one horse. Her name is Rainy. Se looks great even tho she's super old! I don't know how much longer she may live, so I will be spending as much time as I can with her. I will tell you how she's going... till...till she passes.
