Yea, it’s unfortunate though because there’s a lack of knowledge on her part that only experience or someone else’s guidance can fill, in a family as large as ours, opinions are seldom, if ever, heard and actually listened to.

That sucks! Honestly if it was me I’d just buy the stuff anyway and call it a gift. Maybe she’d accept it better that way. Say you found a really cute one you thought she’d like or something. And it just happens to fit better. I’d rather do that than risk her getting hurt. Your family will see if or WHEN something happens, unfortunately.
