Probably because the cost of feed has almost doubled in some places. Gas too.

Even before the huge skyrocket they were wildly expensive. When I was first looking I couldn't find anything under 75$/hr,, and that was before the whole COVID stuff.

Luckily mow I've managed to find a much more affordable place, only like $45/hr. It's a bit of a drive to get there though, the amount spent on gas is like $25, so we aren't really saving much.

The $75 ones around here were group. The privates were way more, like $100.

Jumping has always looked so fun. Once I'm a more experienced rider in Western. I'd love to try English some day
