Awesome! I’ve heard they’re very smart and take care of their handlers too. They have a bad reputation as being crazy but they’re not. Or at least not certain lines. I think the Egyptian ones???? Emma just doesn’t like the weird face shape.

Yes, they take VERY good care of their riders. Is why I bought mine. Took her out for a test ride and she tossed her head and the bridle flew off, at a gallop. She stopped and stood while I got off and fixed it (novice rider at the time). Got back on board and away we went. Not the last time she took care of me.

And no, they're not crazy. Spirited does not mean evil, crazy or out of control. It means eager, enthusiastic, biddable. They have a spark other horses lack. Like I said,I was a novice. She was 3/4 Arab and simply amazing. She was my wings. I have to stop now before I cry.

I think they’re probably one of the more misunderstood breeds out there.

If owned an Arab I’m sure I would ADORE her, but when it comes to pure body build I’m not a fan.

Emma, I used to trail ride up sand washes with five or six ladies that had QH and Appys. My little Crystal and I would have to trot big circles while we waited for the others to catch up. She had the most amazing extended trot!
