You're right, it really doesn't. Kind of like watching a horse's legs from underwater as he's swimming! I'm really sorry, I realized today that in my enthusiasm to share my knowledge about these amazing horses, I wasn't very tactful. Please forgive me.I guess I never thought all that tap dancing would feel smooth. Doesn’t look like it would.
You‘re all good! I had no idea about their smooth gait. I always thought it would feel like driving on a gravel road all the time. You're right, it really doesn't. Arabian horses can go farther and longer on less water than any other breed of horse, and IIRC, farther than any other animal than a camel. Y'all feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. My half-Arab (was actually 3/4) went all day on a competitive trail ride in NM without taking advantage of water at the required water stops until the ride was over, to my surprise, with no ill effects. She would lip the water, then look up the trail as if to say, "We're not there yet are we? Let's get going!" You can believe that her RIDER was drinking plenty of water at every opportunity, however!dose anyone know any interesting horse facts.
Thankya!It’s very interesting!!
No problem!Thankya!

My old riding teacher had some minis boarded there, and occasionally, my sister and I would help take care of them. They were so cute! Their names were Tonka and Waylon.Anybody have minis? I love them!
