You're right, it really doesn't. Kind of like watching a horse's legs from underwater as he's swimming! I'm really sorry, I realized today that in my enthusiasm to share my knowledge about these amazing horses, I wasn't very tactful. Please forgive me. :bow

You‘re all good! I had no idea about their smooth gait. I always thought it would feel like driving on a gravel road all the time. :lol:

Arabian horses can go farther and longer on less water than any other breed of horse, and IIRC, farther than any other animal than a camel. Y'all feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. My half-Arab (was actually 3/4) went all day on a competitive trail ride in NM without taking advantage of water at the required water stops until the ride was over, to my surprise, with no ill effects. She would lip the water, then look up the trail as if to say, "We're not there yet are we? Let's get going!" You can believe that her RIDER was drinking plenty of water at every opportunity, however! 🤣
