I know he will be the biggest horse I have ever owned😅 I originally went to look at a different horse they had. He was a dapple gray gelding with long flowy mane looked like a unicorn straight out of a movie. He was drop dead gorgeous and ready to go, but I just did not have that gut feeling that he was the one. I know it might sound odd, but I looked at quite a few horses and passed purely on my gut. Then I saw Drago in the back and I instantly knew he was the one despite the fact that he was only a yearling and I usually prefer horses 15-16hh lol
That doesn’t sound weird to me lol I would probably do the same.

@HollowOfWisps Blue roan is such a pretty color! One of my faves!

They say that foals get their height from their dam, so he's going to be big. But, depending on his Friesian lines, that could also influence how tall he gets. I've known several 17+h Friesians!

Given his age and his height now, I wouldn't be surprised if he makes it to 17 hands (or more). Friesians mature slowly, so he's not even close to done growing.

There's a Friesian/Percheron that shows local to me, and he is massive! Absolutely gorgeous too.

I think you will have a ton of fun with him!

I have fully prepared myself for a giant😂

He's so gorgeous! What do you plan to do with him, once he's under saddle?
Mountain/trail riding, ranch work, mounted archery and some carriage driving just for fun. Everyone seems to think I’m crazy for not wanting to show him since his older brothers sold for $50,000 and $70,000, but this is his forever home so I’m not training him to sell.

That’s sounds like a lot of cool stuff to work on! He’s such a pretty boy I’m sure you’ll have a lot of fun with him.
