i've never gotten to ride bitless or bridleless, but i'd really like to one day! gotta keep working on giving clear leg cues first though, i STILL struggle with steering and i'm only finally getting a consistent decent upwards canter transition
I’m sure you’ll get there! I’ve never ridden bitless or bridleless either.

I finally talked my husband into a full reverse osmosis system that will be directly feeding the automatic waterers. My well water is orange orange because it is very high in iron. I have been trying to counterbalance all of the iron in our water with copper/zinc in their mash, but I still would feel so much better if they weren’t getting such high iron to begin with especially for their hoof health. I know it’s a weird thing to be excited about, but I am😂

got to jump MORE oxers! also finally rode a different horse than my confidence-boosting boys since august or so, and actually did quite well! he's a little bit speedier so it was a different focus, and also he's got the best trot for sitting, and his lower lip flops around and makes a silly noise with every step in the trot and canter when it hits his upper lip:gig very silly <3

Haha, my boy does that sometimes too. When he gets distracted by something, occasionally I'll just wiggle his bottom lip until his brain comes back to what we're doing. 🤭 It's pretty fun!
