I remembered a mistake I made that might help to know about. I assumed she'd birth in the night as they usually do, so in the daytime I let her turn out with an old pony for company. Well she started labour at high noon under a shady tree and the pony SPOOKED at what was coming out of her back end. So when I got there my first job, before I could even go check on her, was to get that crazy pony out of the field. Comical now as I remember it but a bit scary at the time. How are things with Sugar?
Sugar is doing good, but she STILL does not show any signs!!! The other horse that was bred the same time as Sugar and had not foaled, foaled today. I am getting very worried!!!
