Horses!!!!!!!!

I remembered a mistake I made that might help to know about. I assumed she'd birth in the night as they usually do, so in the daytime I let her turn out with an old pony for company. Well she started labour at high noon under a shady tree and the pony SPOOKED at what was coming out of her back end. So when I got there my first job, before I could even go check on her, was to get that crazy pony out of the field. Comical now as I remember it but a bit scary at the time. How are things with Sugar?

Sugar is doing good, but she STILL does not show any signs!!! The other horse that was bred the same time as Sugar and had not foaled, foaled today. I am getting very worried!!!

Oh get out of here! That's amazing! But not to worry. Honestly I think Nature always knows best. Maybe she feels its still a bit cold to bring a baby into the world. Maybe she feels the baby needs a bit more time to develop because the winter was so hard. It will come eventually and you will so easily forget all this nervous waiting. Anyway, we're still here with you. Wanting to hear your news and ready to celebrate Sugar's new foal! Do you have name ideas?

Yes just relax. Your mare is is healthy and smart. I bet all is fine. Hey the friends mare I was telling u about was late too and ended up having her foal of Good Friday. Sugar might be planing on doing the same. I'm still praying for all of you!

Sternrose. Best thing is to measure along where you want the fences. Every 5 feet (if I remember correctly) put up a post, big wood post. If you feel the need to put metal post in between then go for it. However as you measure the area, your going to need to write down everything you need, along with how much fencing. Secondly, check around with mini colts. Just get a price thats right around the same and work with that for now.

That makes me feel better. I will try to relax, just so nervous!
Hey I have no experience with horses and want a mini, that's a little colt, less than a year. I have no fencing ihave nothing so I need a price to start saving.
Are you wanting to be able to ride the horse?
