Host a BYC Traveling Mascot!

I know- the Food Fighters box- I seem to have misplaced it. If I recall, it has a Yogi Bear shirt in it ( SURPRISE). I'll be tearing the closet apart tomorrow looking for it.
Speaking of Bears- I wore Fozzie to work. He was a hit!!

Beaker, unfortuately, already knows, and has already told Billy. No hidden code- bantam human (aka the NJ red) comes from my Biggest Little Rooster story- it is my daughter, who stands just 5' tall with red hair. Mom is a ditzy blonde, and little brother is 35 and lives in moms basement with a part time job, and -28 % ambition. The missing box - well for the past 20 years, we have been trading presents in this box that a Food Fighter toy came in. I received the last present in it, so it's my turn to give a present in it. And I have it wrapped somewhere around here, but can't find it. I better find it, or my big sis will kick my butt!!

I thought Father Tme was cute also. I didn't have any cotton balls! I couldn't believe it. But me being the queen of improvise- I pulled the stuffing out of one of the dog's toys!! Sheesh, the things I do to keep people entertained LOL

weird, I thought I had typed a reply, but it didn't appear.

let's try again....

I, for one, need all the entertainment I can get today. Thanks!!

Today, I was on my way back to let the teenagers out of their run, when I noticed all the babies come running. I guess they thought I had treats. I tried to stop them from running, but the one silkie was trotting at a good speed. She hit a patch of ice, and I had mixed emotions. I was laughing as I watched her little feathery feet slide out from under her, much like Bambi. She looked like she was trying out some new dance moves. The look on her face was priceless.
I stopped giggling for a moment because I was concerned she would break a leg, dislocate something, or do a faceplant. Then, she managed to get a good footing, and I started giggling again.
Anyway, the point of the story is- this gave Beaker some ideas. He started running across the yard. Then I heard him yell WHEEEEEEEE!!

He is lucky he has a flat bottom. It helped him not fall over!

I was trying to UNdecorate for Christmas, and Beaker and Billy were really getting in the way. Beaker wanted to wear his santa hat one more time before putting it away. So, I made them lunch:

And while they ate, a big box was delivered. They were quite excited to see what was inside- but it was just one dog toy, and several bags of food for the parrots. That didn't interest them too much- BUT, for some reason, the box was twice as big as it needed to be, and filled with air bubble thingys:

Beaker dared Billy to jump, but Billy was very scared. So, Beaker did what any big brother would do- he pushed him:

When Billy started giggling, Beaker decided it looked like fun, and jumped :

The dog was preoccupied with her new toy:

And the boys were playing parachute:

I got a LOT accomplished.

I have been trying to be a good host, and quite honestly, this time around, I have been a little selfish, and haven't even thought of future hosts. I guess I should ask if I should be moving Beaker along ( although Beaker thinks it is way too cold for a little duckie to be traveling - unless we can find a way to heat his CTU). I have been enjoying his company, and I don't want him to go, but I have had him over a month now. Should he be travelling on? Or shall I buy him his own little snow shovel, and keep him around a little longer?

I was at the store the other day, and bought something for Beaker. Yes, I was at the store, wondering what would be good for a stuffed duck! Yikes, I need a life!!

So, here is what I bought him:

Beaker was impressed with Billy's ability to stay in the lines, although he thought Billy's green potato was not very ap-peel-ing. ( Beaker's Mr. Potato is a red potato).
The coloring book came with stickers, and some blank Mr. Potato Heads to "dress up".
Now, what kid puts stickers where they are supposed to be?
That's right- no kid does:

Bizzy, after the tricks you are teaching him, no one is going to want Beaker, even though we love him!

He is such a handful, and you are a terrible enabler! How will anyone keep up with him? Maybe he should stay with you until he grows out of the terrible twos!!

I agree with Steffanie... I think Beaker and Billy should stay with their Fairy God-Mother in Never-Never land.. with an occasional trip to his Step-Sister’s (Steffanie & Ms. Donna ) .
