First, Fancy got a little history lesson about the Washoe House in Sonoma County. It is between Petaluma, Santa Rosa, and Bodega. It was a stage coach stop and, um, a *hostelry.*
I couldn't have described it better. Of course, when we went inside to meet the patrons, they were very friendly, and glad to meet Fancy. The lady behind the, um, *counter,* gave Fancy a better view of the crazy ceiling, where, for years, people have been tacking up a dollar bill and their business cards for luck.
Fancy got to play Yahtzee, at least that what I think the dice were for, and have, um, *cream soda.* They were so nice to her!
Then, we were headed down the road toward Sebastopol, and made a quick turn when Fancy spotted a really cool clothing store that she HAD to visit.
There were all kinds of fun things to see and buy, but we only let Fancy pick out a Onesie, and a skull cap, which she is planning to send to Lunachick before she heads off to her next destination.
I have a bunch more pics to upload, but have to go to bed. Tomorrow, I will show you Fancy's adventure down Florence Lane in Sebastopol, where she got to interact with the sculptures of artist Patrick Amiot.
