THIS can't be !!!

I just saw it on the news. Terrible. The worst news I've had since BYC went offline
yesterday.

This really has me walking the floor. I've already sent my wife to the store to stock up
on the good stuff. Go store-to-store, buy them all up.

Single-handedly, I will save the Twinkie business.

It's up to me, Super-Spook, to keep the Twinkie man going.

Who shall I call first? Obama did the bailout for the car boys...maybe he
will bail out the twinkie man...Somebody write the President.

This is an emergency !!!

Spook...off the store...where's my Super-Spook cape...I must go.

I just watched Zombieland last night.

Woody Harrelson's goal in a post apocalyptic world is finding the last twinkie.

Imp- works for me

If that's the case, then I thought I'd better post a recipe using Twinkies that I copied and pasted from another recipe forum.......

CREAMY PINEAPPLE CAKE

  • 5 individual cream-filled sponge cakes (Twinkies), split in half lengthwise
  • 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1-1/2 cups cold milk
  • 1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups whipped topping,
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

  • Place cake in an ungreased 11-in. x 7-in. dish or even a 13x9-in dish instead. Top with pineapple; cover and set aside.
  • In a bowl, beat milk and pudding mix until smooth. Fold in 1/2 cup whipped topping; pour over pineapple. Spread remaining whipped topping over pudding. Sprinkle with nuts. Chill until serving. Yield: 6-8 servings.
