I believe I am hearing a roo cockle doodle doo.

He said the dog was howling at an ambulance  I was like naw, ain't no ambulance. The sound kept going on sounding like a horn losing battery power. I think it is a roo. :jumpy If it wasn't so cold (40 deg , ha!) and dark I would go out and record. Then again I wouldn't want to disturb him.

Aww man, it stopped. Well, if a rooster he will surely do it again later. :)

When Ludwig was first learning to crow all he could say was "Aw". Just one short syllable.

Rameses was more "Aw-er-er".

Slowpoke's first crowing was a diffident "Er? Er-um," as if he were trying not to disturb anyone. But he was deformed so he didn't have the normal chest capacity.

Young cockerels learning to crow are hilarious!
