Hi Hi all

The last 4 or 5 days we have had almost no eggs from our girls.

Now the girls have taken to hiding there nests but I'm pretty good at ferreting them out. the eggs we have been getting are cracked and broken

thing is the weather here has been scorching with temps in the 90s for most of those days. we got average egg production with decent shells going into the heat but they have since dropped down.

we are now finding 2-3 eggs a day

so do you think its likely that we are finding the eggs its just they have slowed down there laying do to the heat? the girls are spending most of there time in our hostas in the shade we are keeping them well watered but I have noticed them panting
