UPDATE
We visited a chicken vet on Monday and have been making a steady improvement ever since.
Chicken has a heart condition which is the under laying reason for the infection. She's now on heart medication which will either make a difference or won't; thankfully it seems to be. This will result in her having to stay on it long term and the future will bring its challenges but we will face each one as it comes. We will do all we can to extend her life and ensure its a happy one but will not see her suffer through our selfishness.
We were also given a packet of Rabbit rescue by the chicken vet which we mixed in smaller quantities which meant we could get some food in to her, along side the nutri drops - just in case that helps anyone else out in the UK.
