Here is my unidentified dude who is currently not happy. Any ideas on what it is? Just got it last fall and it did well inside up until about a month ago. Moved him outside this week to see how he fares.

My first instinct is wandering jew. They like bright, indirect light. Worst case scenario, clip some and toss it in some water, it'll root like crazy

Edit to add, new growth looks healthy. Maybe an east or north position, so it gets some shade in the afternoon? Mine did really well on the north corner of my east facing front porch last year. The middle and crown area looks sunburnt

It has been inside for several months when the browning started suddenly. I thought maybe under watering? I just put it outside yesterday on the east side of house. Will get some direct sun but mostly shade there.

Tradescantia was my first thought too, when I saw it. But not tradescantia zebrina, it's too big

My friend's mom has one that is massive, I thought the leaves looked too small. 🤔 there does seem to be some purple in there. Definitely not zebrina, but maybe a different variety?

Oh sorry that's what I meant, the way I worded it was misleading. I meant that the actual zebrina is too big :lau . Sorry again
