Well, I have a Casey Anthony trial garden this year. I got to watching the trial and severly neglected the weeding.

Still have tons put up in the freezer though. You ought to see my DH's Casey Anthony trial yard.

Ya'll really should try the squash leaves as mulch. They're awesome.

I had to fence the garden off, the chickens!!

I just picked and dehydrated squash and cucumbers. They didn't last the night because I couldn't stop eating them!!! LOL They taste BETTER after being dehydrated

. I am still working on that stupid solar dehydrator! Man I wanna get it done so I can get food for winter and for the chickens.

I wonder how you'd preserve squash and other veggie leaves/stems for the chickens? I bet it would be nice for them during the winter.

My gourds are starting to put off, I have no clue what they are though. I hope they're edible.

Eeek, weeding. Next time put down a thick layer of hay or cardboard covered with hay. That makes for no weeds and less watering!
