Hova Bator 2362N.... any users?????

Nope.. I keep them in the whole time... if I am using a turner, I put the eggs in cartons for lockdown and take out the turner... I also use shelf liner under the cartons.. The incubator stays MUCH cleaner!!!

Have you seen my little Hova Bator for the Easter Hatch?? ROFL!! There are egg cartons under all those eggs!!

Goddess - I've been thinking about doing the same thing you have... Tilting the incubator back and forth instead of turning the eggs by hand (because I could fit more eggs without a turner). Do you find that the 2x4 provides enough of an angle? What kind of hatch rates do you get? How do you keep water in the trays when you're tilting the incubator back and forth?

That's a LOT of eggs in your 'bator!

I get about 85% hatch.. I only turn them 3 times a day but I'm thinking of doing it 5 for this time around to see if it helps... I don't put the board right at the edge so it does get quite an angle on it.. I have a turner and I actually think the board does a better job... It's just not automated.... As for the water trays, I put rolled up toilet paper, folded paper towel or a maxi pad (yep! works great!) in the wells to hold the water...

I JUST started up my 2362N this morning... Easter Eggers, Rhode Island Reds, and Black Sexlinks. Of course, I did 42 eggs, which is the egg turner's capacity. Kinda wish I'd seen this thread sooner! All of my hatchable eggs are washed and in the fridge, so I can't load it up now... Oh well, there's always next time!

Thanks for the answers! One more question... When you do two layers of eggs, do they all hatch at the same time, or are they staggered because the top eggs get more heat than the bottom eggs? Or does the fan make everything heat pretty evenly? Thanks!

Hi im getting the 2362n circulated air w turner should be here wednesday and have been collecting eggs from wellies for four days and yesterday i started getting wellie/ee eggs as well trying for some olive eggers! i have never used an incubator before so i am nervous and excited wonder if my eggs will be ok held on counter for nine days or if i should ditch the first two days worth they are staying under seventy five and i have them karge end up and am propping up ends and changing angle daily is that the best way to store them?

is the hova bator 2362 any better than a little giant

Just me personally I think it is..Its taller and I kind alike the wafer in the hova better than the LG's thermostat..I personally have had less problems with setting a wafer thermostat than I did with the LG thermostat..Again that's my exp.
